Air Gun Cash on Delivery

Pay ₹5,000 to confirm, the rest in cash when the parcel reaches your door. Here are the exact numbers, the pincodes we cannot reach, and the one condition most sellers bury in the small print.

Updated 17 September 2026 · 63 COD orders shipped in the last 90 days

Quick Answer

Yes — we ship air guns cash on delivery across India, and it is partial COD, not zero down. You pay a ₹5,000 advance to confirm the order plus a ₹1,000 COD handling fee, and the balance in cash to the courier. On a Star RX Gen 3 at ₹25,500 that is ₹6,000 now and ₹20,500 at your door, delivered in about five days.

The Exact Numbers

If you orderAdvance nowCOD feeCash at your door
Star Leo — ₹8,400₹5,000₹1,000₹4,400
Mauser X Matte — ₹9,499₹5,000₹1,000₹5,499
Star RX Gen 3 — ₹25,500₹5,000₹1,000₹21,500
Star PXi Combo — ₹30,000₹5,000₹1,000₹26,000

The ₹1,000 fee is charged once per order, not per item. Paying the full amount by UPI in advance removes it entirely.

How It Works

  1. 1Check your pincode first.

Send it on WhatsApp. We confirm COD availability in a few minutes, before you pay anything. A handful of pincodes cannot take a cash-carrying parcel of this category.

  2. 2Place the order, pay ₹5,000.

Choose partial cash on delivery at checkout. The advance goes through UPI QR or card and net banking. UPI is the more reliable of the two in our own order data — use it if you can.

  3. 3Proforma invoice on WhatsApp.

It arrives by WhatsApp and email once the advance clears. That is your confirmation the order is in the dispatch queue, with the tracking ID to follow.

  4. 4Pay the balance in cash.

To the courier at your door, typically about five days after dispatch. The GST tax invoice and muzzle-energy certification are in the box.

Said plainly, because it matters: this is not zero-rupees-down COD. If you are searching for an air gun with nothing payable until delivery, we are not that seller, and we would rather you know now than at checkout. The ₹5,000 advance is what makes pan-India COD possible on a ₹25,000 restricted-category parcel — a refused delivery costs both legs of the freight and risks the unit coming back damaged. Sellers who advertise zero-advance COD on an item this size are usually shipping to a few cities only.

If You Change Your Mind

Before dispatch: call or WhatsApp us and we cancel and refund the advance to the original payment method, no argument. After dispatch: the parcel is in transit as a restricted item and cannot be recalled, so the advance is not refundable — though a unit that arrives defective or damaged is covered under our returns and warranty policy and our 12-month manufacturer warranty.

The Cheaper Option

If you can pay the full amount up front by UPI, do. You save the ₹1,000 handling fee, the order confirms faster, and in our own data UPI orders are far less likely to get stuck at the payment step than card payments. COD exists because a lot of buyers are reasonably wary of sending ₹25,000 to a website they have not bought from before — that is a fair instinct, and the ₹5,000 advance is the compromise. But if the trust question is settled for you, UPI is simply cheaper.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really deliver air guns cash on delivery in India?

Yes, with one condition we state up front: it is partial cash on delivery, not zero-rupees-down. You pay a ₹5,000 advance to confirm the order, plus a ₹1,000 COD handling fee, and the balance in cash to the courier when the parcel reaches you. On a Star RX Gen 3 at ₹25,500 that means ₹6,000 now and ₹20,500 at your door. We ship pan-India this way and have completed 63 partial-COD orders in the last 90 days at an average order value of ₹26,646.

Why is there a ₹5,000 advance? Other sites say full COD.

Because an air gun is a restricted-category parcel and a refused delivery costs us both legs of the freight plus the risk of the item coming back damaged. The advance is what makes pan-India COD viable on a ₹25,000 product at all — without it we would have to stop offering COD outside a handful of cities, which is what most air gun sellers do. If a seller advertises zero-advance COD on a ₹25,000 air gun, ask them what happens if you refuse the parcel, and ask before you order rather than after.

Is the ₹5,000 advance refundable if I change my mind?

Before dispatch, yes — contact us on the support line or WhatsApp and we will cancel and refund the advance to the original payment method. Once the parcel has been handed to the courier it is in transit as a restricted item and cannot simply be recalled, so the advance is not refundable at that point, though our returns and warranty policy still covers a defective or damaged unit on arrival. Please decide before dispatch, not after.

How do I pay the ₹5,000 advance?

Two ways at checkout: UPI QR, or card and net banking through the CCAvenue gateway. UPI is the faster of the two and in our own order data it is by far the more reliable — if you have the option, use UPI. You will get a proforma invoice by WhatsApp and email once the advance is received, and that is your confirmation the order is in the dispatch queue.

Which pincodes do you deliver COD to?

We ship COD across India through an insured courier, but a small number of remote and restricted pincodes cannot accept a cash-on-delivery parcel of this category — mostly in the north-east, Jammu and Kashmir, the island territories and some interior districts. Rather than have you find out at checkout, send your pincode on WhatsApp and we will confirm in a few minutes before you pay anything. Delivery is typically about five days once the advance is confirmed.

What does the ₹1,000 COD fee cover?

Cash handling and remittance by the courier, and the higher insurance premium a cash-carrying consignment attracts. It is charged once per order, not per item, so a combo or a multi-item order carries the same ₹1,000. If you would rather not pay it, paying the full amount by UPI in advance removes the fee entirely and is the cheapest way to buy from us — that is the same ₹1,000 either way, it just stays in your pocket.

Do I need a licence to receive an air gun by courier?

No. Every air gun we sell is .177 (4.5 mm) and under 20 joules of muzzle energy, which places it outside the Arms Act licensing regime under the Arms Rules 2016 — no licence, no police verification, no registration. You must be 18 or over to place the order and to receive the parcel, and the courier may ask for ID at delivery. The parcel ships with a GST tax invoice and the muzzle-energy certification in the box.
