The Star PX Complete Combo at ₹29,000 is the same package built around the PX, which is the identical rifle without the suppressor. Bought as separate line items the same contents come to noticeably more than the combo price.

Do I need a licence to buy an air gun combo in India?

No. Every rifle in these combos is .177 calibre and produces under 20 joules of muzzle energy, which keeps it outside the licensing regime of the Arms Act 1959 under the Arms Rules 2016. There is no arms licence, no police verification and no district-magistrate application. The buyer must be at least 18. A small number of states have issued their own notifications asking owners to intimate the local police station, so confirm your own state before ordering.

Is a PCP combo worth it over buying the rifle alone?

If you are buying a PCP rifle you will need a way to fill it, so the pump is not optional — it is a purchase you are deferring rather than avoiding. The combo bundles it at a lower total than buying the rifle now and the pump later, and it means the rifle is usable the day it arrives rather than sitting until the next order. The scope and bag matter less on day one; the pump is the part that decides whether you can shoot.
